Valros is pleasant and approachable, but despite his young, handsome exterior, he is wise beyond his years. He can appear stern at times, but is a good judge of character and a strong leader as the decisions he reaches are always fair, just, and with Erivale's best interests at heart.
He rules the human realm of Erivale with the help of his good friends: Lady Alianna and Earl Christoph.

Crythis walked the road from Swyncrest alone. It was quite a long way, but this way he had time to think and survey the landscape. He whistled happily as he looked at the great city in the distance ahead. Considering that he had washed up on the shore of a strange nation and he remembered nothing of his past, he figured that he might as well see what this land held for him, and the best place to do that seemed to be the city up ahead.
Along the journey he passed by many travelers, traders and merchants mostly, and asked them what they knew of the land. He also made note of houses, farms, wooded areas, and other such features along the way.

Trysten had decided to take a break from his army training and the busy streets of Arinesse and visit the town of Swyncrest. He had been to Faydell, but as of yet Swyncrest remained unknown to him.
He walked along the seemingly never-ending road, and started to wish he'd borrowed a horse from Drakan.
He looked up and saw that the sky didn't look too promising either. The grey clouds above his head matched his mood.
He carried on walking, and eventually reached the end of the road, and Swyncrest.

Nelra galloped down the road towards Swyncrest, the wind streaming through her hair. She felt great, she hadn't been out of the Arinesse since she'd arrived, and it felt good. She glanced up at the sky. Looks like rain she thought to herself and grinned. She loved the rain.
After a several more minutes she saw Swyncrest at the end of the road and she soon rode into the town.

Carmen rode out of the city on her trusty steed Ginger. She was just along the road outside of the city, Arinesse, when Nexa landed with a thud beside her. I'll be back tonight, came her mocking voice into Carmen's head. I was being friendly, that's all, Carmen replied. Nexa snorted, I know your thoughts and that's not what you were thinking. So, how was the ball last night, Nexa asked, the city disappearing behind them. If you know my thoughts, than you'll know that I loved it. Nexa paused. Yes you did feel happy last night. Was it fun dancing with the Earl? Carmen smiled. It was great, but even better when Draken taught me. Nexa looked away, not caring about Draken anymore.

Are you going to get off that little pony now and ride on me? Carmen smiled and said, sure. She got off Ginger and took off her saddle. Ginger looked at her master, almost like she wasn't sure waht to do. Then Carmen nodded and she ran off into the wind.

Don't you feel better now? Nexa asked. She'll be better in the wild anyways. Carmen looked up at her dragon companion, I hope you're right. Then she climbed onto her back and Nexa began running. Although she wasn't big enough to fly on Nexa's back, the exileration of just being up on her back was so powerful and they reached Swyncrest in a manner of minutes. And I'm so much faster than that pony. Nexa said, onced they'd reached the town. Carmen smiled as they walked towards the sea.

The road was spinning with dust. They wind blew through Carmen's hair as she rode on the back of a large Purple beast. When I'm finished training, do you want to move to Faydell or Swyncrest? Nexa shook her giant head while she was walking. We'd be easier to reach if we stayed in Arinesse. Carmen loved the thought of living in Swyncrest, but knew her dragon was right. But we should still visit often. I had a lot of fun. This brought Carmen's bright smile back. She watched the sea disappear beyond the horizon.

Carmen looked for the first peaks of the city to appear along the road. It was getting dark and Carmen wanted to get back. Then she felt a certain longing coming from Nexa; the longing to fly. I feel strong enough, but I know I can't leave you without a steed. Carmen felt her longing too. When we get back to Arinesse, you can go for a hunt and I'll walk back to my hut. I'll meet you there later. Nexa gave her thanks and picked up her pace a little.

Carmen felt quite sleepy and Nexa said, You may sleep, I'll get you there safely. Carmen nodded her head and fell asleep to the Nexa's footsteps.

Carmen. Carmen. Came Nexa's kind voice. Carmen opened her eyes to see the gates of the city rise above her. Thanks Nexa, she said, climbing down. She looked into the Dragon's deep eyes and said, Have a good time! Then she waved as the purple dragon took off into the night. Then Carmen walked through the gates off the grand city of Arinesse.

The wagons wooden wheels ground to a halt in the middle of the road, Keelin missed its annoying crush of the gravel and squeeze of the rim, looking up she watched her master climb down from the bench seat and stretch.
She had worked for them man for several years now, glancing down at her blackened fingers, that no matter how long she scrubbed the soot always stained her Elvin skin.

"Ya sure you want to go to this Swyncrest city?” her master asked her once more interrupting her thoughts, looking up at his face and seeing a slight frown of worry creased his forehead she nodded.

“Yes, I do.” She told him, stepping closer to the wagon she glanced up at the large city of Arinesse that loomed in the near distance.
It was where her master had chosen to move his blacksmith shop, to be closer to his daughter, although the work was good and the coin decent, Keelin longed to see the sea.

She lifted her small pack from the back of the wagon and swiped at the soot that had rubbed up against it from the smithy tools, “I shall see you again” she told him, and watched as he came to stand in front of her.
“Ye will be missed lad, my daughter was quite fond of ye, when ye done sewn those wild oats every young man must, come to me.” He told her, slapping her hard on the shoulder and almost tossing her on her back side, he bellowed at this.

” Well now, off you be.” He told her handing her a pouch of coins, her salary for the last two months. “I do not know how’s you work for a smithy, and not gain more muscle then you have, still scrawny lad, now off you go.” He told Keelin and waved her back down the road, she needed no more encouragement and hurried off.

The road was dusty but she hardly cared as its fine mist covered her in its powder, she was finally on her own again. It had been a good two years working for the blacksmith, her purse was thick and she was ready to make one of her dreams come true, well three actually but she was a sensible girl and knew one dream at a time.
She stumbled over a rock on the road and glared at it as if was the stones fault and not the lack of her daydreaming that caused the act, turning she glanced back towards Arinesse, the blacksmith stood staring at her as if he would change his mind and call her back again.
This gave her a stab of uneasiness and she increased her pace, turning and looking down the empty road that would take her to Swyncrest.
