Faydell's Square is nowhere near as big as the City Square in Arinesse, but it provides a perfect place to meet people in the village. It is sometimes used as the location for any events that Faydell may hold, like the Fayre. There are stone benches around the square where you can sit to wait for someone, or just to watch the day go by.

Jessai had summoned all her courage and crept further into Erivale. She had been told by someone in the great city that Faydell would be more likely to have a tailors that could fix her dress.
As she entered the village square, she could see that she had come to the right place. It felt more like the home she had come from, with the big market stalls and the stone benches. She felt a little more at ease than she had in Arinesse and looked around eagerly for a stall or shop that seemed to be what she was looking for.
A little old woman stopped beside her "Are you lost dear?" she asked, with a cheerful smile on her face. Jessai explained her situation briefly, hoping that it was the usual thing-for strangers to tell others of their business. The lady didn't seem to mind and pointed Jessai to a corner of the square. Jessai thanked her and walked around the square's edge.
As she grew closer she could see the shop she needed. It was only small and looked like it had been there for many years. The great oak beams were bowed with age and the nails showed signs of rust. Hoping that there was somewhere inside for her to change (she was currently wearing the dress she needed to be mended), she stepped through the door.
Instantly, a woman was by her side, asking her if she needed any help. Jessai explained that her dress held sentimental value and needed mending. The lady told her the cost and process involved in fixing the garment. Jessai listened intently, nodding every now and again.
"That sounds perfect" She said once the assistant has finished. "Do you have somewhere i can change?"
She was led to a small beackroom that seemed to hold cloth, and told to change here. She did so, putting on her black trousers and black shirt, both of which were old, and the only change of clothes she had. She made her way back into the main part of the shop and handed the dress over. Thanking the staff, she turned to leave.
"Excuse me miss?" Came a voice. "You didnt pay..." Jessai blushed scarlet. "I'm sorry" she started. She wasn't used to purchasing anything, and had never done so. She parted with the few coins she owed and was asked for an address.
"Why?" She asked worried about what she would reply. "Well, we need to send the dress to you!" The woman laughed.Once again Jessai felt foolish and explained that she was new in Erivale. "Book yourself a room at the Red Coral Inn, in Arinesse" she told jessai firmly. "I will send the dress on to there." Jessai nodded and repeating the Inn's name over and over, left the store.
