Name: Keelin
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Race: hybrid *elf mother, human father
Appearance: Keelin has the appearance of most elves; she has the slightly pointed ears, the round eyes, not overly large because of her crossed race. They are brown in colour reminding one of melted chocolate. Her skin is a soft peach colour, her body slim and well defined with athletic appearance. Her hair is black, long and thin, which reminds one of a waterfall cascading over her shoulders, in those rare moments she lets it out of a tight pleat, her appearance is not one of gowns and flowing cloths, like some female chose to dress them selves in. Rather Keelin is more boyish dressed, Tunic and pants in a dark green, with black patches to conceal her better in the forest, her black boots are scuffed and usually have traces of mud or dirt across them. She wears a dark green cloak that has a rather large hood, well for concealment of her appearance and casting shadows upon her face.
Personality: Keelin has a strong will, and the drive that matches it although rarely does one see it revealed as its intended. She conceals much in her life and has trouble revealing what really lies within, thinking more that destiny guides her rather then her bundling mistakes, which are often misleading her anyway.
She has very little trust and should one earn it, then one will keep it. She has at times trouble holding her tongue and can ramble for long periods totally losing the point of the conversation. She is impatient, at times head strong and reasonable to some degree…in general she is a mixture of things wrapped up in a small girl who makes it all work for her eventually.
Strengths: Keelin’s strengths are in her ability to blend into the environment around her and uses it. She conceals her true identity, which is of little importance to anyone around her, but its something she has mastered over the years.
Weaknesses: Keelin has the misfortune of bad luck haunting her, should there one rock on a sandy beach; Keelin is most likely to stumble over it. She often speaks without first thinking her thoughts out, blurting words that should not be spoken at times. This does cause some conflicts and most likely have her in the centre of it all.
Magic: Keelin has the magic of Thought, although she rarely uses it around other people, more so she uses it while in the forest, talking to the animals. She is unsure if they understand what she is saying but enjoying believing it could happen if she practised long enough. Not one animal has spoken back though, it concerns her but she doesn’t give up.
Fighting Ability: Keelin carries one dagger, a small hunting knife but her skills in using the dagger is limited and more for intimidation then actual use, she can use the hunting knife with some skill on game or food. She would rather use her fists then her weapons, and usually does.
Character history: Keelin having been born of two races, had a fairly well brought up childhood with four sisters and a brother, her human father not a part of her childhood, she was raised in a Elvin haven.
It was just after she turned nine that a black cloud settled upon her home life, strangers entered their haven and raided the homes of the small community; peace-loving elves struggled hopelessly to keep their children.
The raiders taking all the females in the home, her brother hid her from these raiders and only after the men had left the village did she crawl out of an animal den to weep for the loss of her sisters, for as a child she had no idea why this had happened to her happy family and was left in confusion.
Her mother feared the men would return and cut her hair and dressed her as a boy, she almost became like a twin to her brother and to this day holds the pain of that day and the fear it placed upon her heart.
She remains dressed and acts much like a male in this world to conceal herself, the history of her life falling and overlapping the future with each breath she takes as a female the world only sees a small male elf.

Its not for this character but hopefully give you basic look at my style of writing.
Sitting upon a small hill she felt as if the world could do no wrong on this night, the moon in its half shape bloomed bright over head and made the world alive with shadows, she was in her wolf form, the breeze blowing her grey fur slightly as she perked her ears to listen to the night sounds.
She was a newcomer to this forest but so far had not found it settled by another wolf or pack, so if the wild life were in abundances, she would settle here for the winter season. A slight movement caught her black, yellow rimmed orbs and she crouched as she stalked it with her eyes, the tall uncut grasses seemed to move with purpose and she inhaled the telltale smell of deer before she crept forward silently.
She sat the two ears posed on top of the deer’s head flinch and knew she was about to be discovered, lunging at the last possible moment and snapping her jaws into the tender flesh of the deer’s hide, she used her claws to rip at the startled animal to gain some leverage.
She only released the prey once to push off its hindquarter and land squarely upon its back, her canines closing over the animal’s throat as she swung her long body around and under the deer.
The whites of is dark doe like eyes was startling as it looked around in wild fear, Phelan closed her jaws a bit more, feeling her canines cut the hide and felt the heat of the animals blood pool around her teeth to warm them as the blood spilled free and soaked her tongue.
The animals life pulsed against her tongue as she pictured in her mind the white rings of its windpipe slowly squeeze shut and snap the air from its body, the animal finally stopped fighting and tumbled to the ground, grasses poking sharply into Phelan’s fur as she held on to her supper until the final jerk of its body told her she had been successful.
