The Marble Temple stands at the edge of the City Square and is one of the most elegant and beautiful structures in Arinesse, second only to the Palace itself. It was built during the Sovereignty of Valros II and since then has been restored to its original beauty many times. Each of the rooms inside is specific to one of the elements (Fire, Earth, Water and Air) and they contain marble decorations depicting these.

Sapphire walked through the temple. She read a sign that said. Up: Water Down: Fire: Left: Air: Right: Earth. She wondered why they had no ice. Probably in the water. she thought as she walked towards the water room. Many books sat upon the shelves. She pulled on out that said. Water and Ice. She began reading.

Carmen walked into the temple, feeling the peacefullness that surrounded her. Nexa, the size of a dog, walked at her side, looking at everything. This is the temple? She asked. Yes, came Carmen's reply. This is the temple. She saw the sign that said Fire:up, Water: down, Air: left, Water: right. She headed upwards towards the fire, knowing Nexa would enjoy it. She saw paintings along the walls. Beautiful Murals done by many great artists. She saw a great Red dragon embalmed in flames and a great forest fire. Above all that burned in the painting stood a figure. A beautiful goddess all in red, her hair burning with the flame. The Fire Goddess, Nexa said, staring up.
Then, Carmen saw a bench next to a bookcase fulll of old books. She sat down, Nexa jumping up beside her, and pulled out a book called, The History of Dragons. She flicked through it and then asked Nexa. Did Garnet tell you about this? Nexa looked up and nodded. Yes, She told me about how the dragons from Stoneburn Island gave up some eggs to... and Nexa continued telling Carmen all about Dragons History. Almost exactly as it was in the book.
