This is where the ships can dock at Port Swyncrest. Many trading ships arrive from over sea selling foreign goods. Fishing boats and private boats are also allowed to dock here. Port Swyncrest has been known to be attacked by pirate ships, so beware, there may be a pirate in your midst.
You must leave from here to get to Stoneburn island, there is no other way (except flying).

It was one of the worst storms that the residents of Swyncrest had seen in years. Those who witnessed it would never forget the eerie way that the mass of dark and heavy clouds seemed to stretch towards land from far over the horizon just as the twilight rays of the sun vanished behind them. Soon after, a mighty wind picked up, causing the residents closest to the shore to fasten their windows as the owners of ships warily eyed their mooring place, making sure that the port was indeed protected from the wrath of the oncoming storm. The full fury of the storm hit the town just as the first of it's waves crashed into the jettys sending up huge sprays of water into the air, as is seeking to mimic the clouds above which now hurled water against the small town as if in anger.
The storm subsided with the coming dawn, and the village residents, many of whom hadn't slept, ambled out of their homes, checked for damage, and then returned to their daily tasks, thankful that the true fury of the storm seemed to have been spent at sea.
[[OOC just narrating an event created in another thread that effects this one, I hope that's appropriate]]

Keelin walked down the length of the dock, ships bobbed in the water, tied to the piers along the dock, fishing boats, shipping boats and smaller crafts all rocking in the waves. The heavy smell of saltwater and fish concealed most other scents as she stopped at the edge of the dock and took a seat on its raised frame, she dug into her pack and pulled out a piece meat to chew upon a she looked around with eager eyes and a smile upon her lips.
Seagulls cried out over head as they swooped and dived in the fresh fish smelling air, Keelin turned and looked down at the water sloshing up against the aged and dark with wetness wood of the dock, she could see several dead fish through the greenish clear water, their bodies littered the sea floor around the end of the dock and she could not understand why.
Then a large smelly fisherman walked up beside her and dumped a wicker basket of fish off the edge, “Excuse me sir, why do you throw away fish?” she asked him, and he stopped and looked at her, “There garbage fish, can’t eaten and no use for bait.” He growled at her before turning to walk away, she looked back at the fish and watched for a while at the ones that floated and then slowly lowered to the bottom to rest with the other dead.
She felt sorry for these fish, as stupid as that sounded if said out loud not that anyone was around to hear her anyway. Finishing her meal she rose and walked the length of the dock once more, her eyes noticing as much as possible around the dock before she reached its end and headed down beside the dock to get closer to the water.

Keelin climbed down over the rocks to where the water lapped up against the dock, true it would have been easier to go further down to the beach, but Keelin rarely did anything the easy way. She sat upon a rock and pulled her pack off, sighing as the weight of it was lifted from her shoulders.
Leaning over she dipped her fingers into the small edge of the waves that came close to her boots, she dug her fingers into the small pebbles and lifted a hand full to take the scent of the water.
Letting them spill from her fingers she smiled, and hurried to pull off her boots, shoving them next to the pack she stood up and let her toes sink in the sandy, pebbles. The water wasn't as cold as she imagined and if she wasn't trying to hide her true identity she would have stripped off and swam for as long as she could before dark. But this would have to satisfy her until she could find a private spot to swim at .
