"I will accept you into the Swordsman division, Matthew." stated the Sovereign, resting the tips of his fingers together in a dignified manner. "But I hope you realise that only the very best soldiers are offered a place in the dragonriders. You will have to work hard in the army, and I'm sure that you will try your best. If not for me, but for Erivale."
He handed Matthew the papers he would need, accepting him into the army. Then turned and added more sheets to his growing pile of paperwork.
"You may leave, and begin training with me as soon as you wish."

As anxious as she was nervous, Nouhime hesitantly walked into the recruitment office. The closer she was to the Sovereign, she could feel her heartbeat within the palms of her hands. Stopped in full question wondering as to why she was so nervous, though the more she thought of it the further she grew away from finding an answer.
"Alright," she spoke to herself in a sigh, ' I’ve got to do this, ' she rubbed her hands together and relaxed her muscles the best she could. She closed her eyes shut and attempted to take a step forward, but the instant she did an image of her father flashed across her eyes. The moment she saw the image she grew sadden, lowering her head with a smirk, ' I’ll be a better general than you, father. ' she thought in full determination.
She took a deep breath and began to walk to where the Sovereign was located, "I'd like to apply for you army, sir." she looked him in the eye with a light smile, "until I meet the demands of becoming a mage, I'd like to train in the archer division."

Drakan approached the Recruiment Office for only the sond time since he had come to Erivale. Looking up at the great building, he began to feel as nervous as he had when he had applied to the army the first time. He mustered all his courage and threw open the doors. This time as he entered he found no new confidence.
He was proud of himself so far for reaching elite in the army and he knew his father would be proud too. But asking the soveriegn for position as a commander. That was something he had never imagined himself doing, although he felt that he could. He had enjoyed his training and he was sure he had impressed Valros aswell. He just hoped that he had impressed him enough to be given a commanding role.
He approached The Sovereigns desk and stood politely, hands clasped behind his back. He bowed formally as The Sovereign looked up at him and he could feel his face starting to burn. He clenched his teeth, not wanting to make his nervous disposition so obvious.
"I am here sir to apply for a position as commanding officer" he wasnt entirely sure what else he was expected to state and stood with a nervous smile laying across hs lips.

Sapphire walked down the stoney lane to the office. She sighed. Could she do this? She looked up and there it was. A quite large building. She walked into the office. She looked at all the swords, bows, gloves, arrows, and even battle axes. She walked up to the Sovereign. "I would like to apply into the army." she said boldy. "Until I meat my goal to become a dragon rider I will be a swordsmen." she said and looked down at the sword hanging at her side but quickly back up to the Sovereign.

"A mage," The Sovereign repeated, nodding his head towards Nohime. It had been a long time since anyone had applied to enroll as a mage in his army . "That is a worthy goal." he said, "You will be offered a place in the mages, depending on how well you do in your first two training sessions. If you're not offered a place you will have to work up to elite before you can apply- although I'm sure that you're aware of the rules. I'll accept you into the archers, and you will be training with my good friend the Earl." He handed her the filled in parchment and added, "Good luck, you can begin training as soon as you wish." * * * The Sovereign looked at the girl before him, noting the tone of determination in her voice. "Joining the Dragonriders will require a lot of skill, and if you display this then we will accept you into the Division after some training. However, do not depend upon your being accepted into the Dragonriders, you will have to prove yourself first," he paused slightly as he saw her look down. "I will accept you into the Swordsman Division, and you may begin your training with me as soon as you wish."

Elizabeth walked into the office. Her usually bouncy hair was kind of stringy and losing it's bounce. Her blue eyes seemed dull and she still looked as though she'd just been crying. She took a deep breath and looked up at the Sovreign, determined to be confident. "Excuse me sir," She started, her voice not faltering. "I would like to apply for the Archers division in the army." The thought of Archery brought Matt back to her mind, but her pushed him away. "I will train as an archer, and then become a dragon rider," This thought completely threw Matt from her head. A Dragon Rider! She awaited the Sovreign's reply, feeling much more confident.

Lúthien walked gracefully into the lowlit room, sweeping throught the grand hall with a calm demure. Her emotions were completely masked, no matter how they tore at her heart. She saw a desk with a kind looking human sitting in the oak chair, quill in hand. Lúthien placed her long fingers on the smooth surface and stated "Hello. I am Luthien Elensar. I heard about an Archers Division here. I would possibly like to join?" Than become a Dragon Rider and show that my race isn't completely helpless! She thought to herself angrily, all the while keeping a smile planted on her angled face. She flung her deep violet hair away from her slanted eyes, relvealing tapered ears. "I own a bow and quivver of my own make," Lúthien delicatley unstrapped her bow from her back and lay the wood on the desk, remembering the requirments. The bow was long and white with green flowery intricating along its edge. The bowstring was taught and firm, unwilling to break under any pressure. Lúthien took a long, thin blade from its sheath, revealing a brass hilt and a silver bladed sword. "This is my blade. It is of my mothers make and is the best in Elven country. I hope it will serve me well if I am to be accepted here at all." Lúthien's angled eyes rested upon the human at the desk, waiting patiently for any reply.

((Lúthien, you have not stated which Division you would like to join prior to wishing to join the Dragon Riders. You cannot be accepted until you state which Division you wish to train in.))
The Sovereign looked at Elizabeth and noted something about her that seemed slightly sad. But the tone of her voice was a confident one, and The Sovereign noted the determined way in which she asked to join the Archers Division, and ultimately the Dragon Riders.
"You will only be accepted into the Dragon Riders if you prove yourself to be the very best," he paused, not wanting to sound too harsh. "But I am sure you will work as hard as you can in the Archers Division."
He handed her a form and smiled slightly.
"You may begin your training with the Earl, I wish you the best of luck."

"Thank you so much sir!" Liz exclaimed. "I won't let you down," she smiled greatly as the Sovereign handed her a form. She gave him one last smile before skipping off to the city.
She was walking towards the city square to make her way back to the Inn, when the thought finally struck her. A dragon rider! she thought excitedly. Just as I promised father! Then she remembered Matt, and tried to forget him, then she decided to run to the stables to get Patches.

The Sovereign turned to Lúthien with a tired smile, it seemed that many of Erivale's residents wished to finally become dragonriders. A tough goal to aim for, but if they trained hard enough...
"I am willing to accept you into the archers division Lúthien, where you will be training with the Earl- depending on how well you progress in your training up to page level, you may or may not be offered recruitment to the higher level divisions. You may begin training as soon as you wish."
He handed her the forms, bearing his signature and crest.
"I wish you the best of luck"
(OOC: So Lúthien, depending on how good the quality of your first two posts are, the earl will decide whether or not you are worthy to join the higher divisions. If he decides you would benefit from more training [and don't be disheartened if he does], then you will have to wait until you reach elite to apply.)

Matthew walked to wards the Recruitment office with a huge smile on his face. He was ready to apply for the Dragon Riders division. He was so excited and had thought all night about not doing it. It's what father wanted, He thought, knowing if t was what he himself wanted too.
Matt walked into the office and saw The Sovereign in his chair. He bowed low and stood up cheerily, "Matthew Sparkle," He said with full confidence. "Here to apply for the Dragon riders division," Then he awaited the Sovereigns reply patiently.

Nouhime retraced the familiar steps to the recruitment office. Her training with Earl Christoph had gone by so fast. To be honest, she was shocked to have even been offered the opportunity to enter the Mages division sooner. All was good and Nouhime walked into the office with a wide and highly uncharacteristic grin on her smug face.
She noticed the Sovereign and her smile grew even wider. She kept her posture straight and greeted the blonde man, whom the Sovereign was speaking with, with light bow. She hadn't spoken anything but waited patiently for her turn to take hold.

The Sovereign had been in a good mood all morning and as the door opened once again to the office, he nodded towards the approaching figure.
"Matt...Matt..." he mused, flicking through his papers until he found Matt's. "Ah yes. You have been training with me in the swordsmen division..."
He looked up with a smile, "And I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality of your training posts..." At that moment he noticed Nouhime enter. "Ah good!" he beamed, "Nouhime. I hoped you'd be along some time today. I've heard nothing but excellent reports of you from the Earl, If you'll bear with me for just a moment." He turned back to Matt. "I'm sure you'll be an asset to the Dragon-Riders Division, and rather than explain to you what responsibilities that will entail, I'll leave that to Lady Alianna who will meet you in the dragon keep with your choice of dragon eggs. Good Luck!"
After Matt had left, he devoted his attention entirely to Nouhime. "The Earl tells me you wish to apply for the mages division, and if this is the case, I will be only to happy to accept you. I feel that the mages division of the army has been somewhat neglected recently, and I'm sure Lady Alianna, who is commander of the mages, will be glad to accept you into her division."
