Nelra emerged from the rear of the stables in response to Drakan's yell. She was in time to see Carmen and then Scarlet head out on the horses. Seeing them going out riding reminded her just how much she'd been neglecting her own mare. She'd have to do something about that soon. She heaved a small sigh as she continued towards Drakan, stopping once along the way to give Eclipse a pat on the nose, before she continued on her way.
"You bellowed?" she asked once she had reached him.

Drakan was speechless when Scarlet spoke to him. He merely nodded and watched as she left. He told Carmen to have a good time with Nexa and then finaly turned to Nelra.
"Hey stranger!" He grinned. "Long time no see!" He handed Nelra a shovel. "Fancy cleaning a few stalls with me?" he laughed. Without waiting for an answer he headed into a nearby stall and led the horse into the outdoor paddock. He did the same with two other mares and finally began to muck out.
"Worst job ever" he muttered to Nelra.

Nelra smiled and accpeted the shovel. "Well, I don't really fancy cleaning out stalls. But I'll help, it would be mean of me to leave you to do all the work yourself," she said. She stood in the ailse way, leaning on the shovel as Drakan moved the horses out. Once Drakan had started she moved into one of the other stalls and got to work as well.
"Shame you can't just snap your fingers and have the job done..." She remarked.

Nelra's words reminded Drakan that he had no magical abilities, but he didnt care anymore. He smiled and remarked "Makes me wish i did have magic!".
Eventually he finished cleaning out the stall, and went to fetch the horse from the paddock. It was a nice day, cool but bright and the horses looked like they had been enjoying their graze. In the back room, Drakan knew he had a sack of carrots, and he went out to collect it. Carrots were a favourite delicacy of Rhoran, the horse he had just returned to his stall and he put a few in his stall before picking up his shovel again.
After an hour or so, Nelra and Drakan had cleaned half of the stalls. "Shall we take a break?" Called Drakan, under the echoing rafters.

"Makes we wish I knew how to use my magic," Nelra said. She found it to be a good sign that Drakan could joke about his lack of magic.
She finished with her current stall and moved on to the next. She go fetch the horses later. Spending more time outdoors would be good for them, and for some of them it was one of the few times they had to stretch their legs. Cleaning stalls was one of her least favourite things to do, so when Drakan suggested a break she gladly leaned her shovel against the side of the stall and stepped out into the aisle.
"A break sounds wonderful!" was Nelra's reply

Finn led his mare into the stables and scanned around for someone who looked like they were in charge. Noting a girl leaning on a broom in the nearby eisle, he began to walk towards her with a smile.
"Excuse me miss, how much is it to keep my horse here?"
He hoped it wasn't much, it wasn't likely he would be using his horse much, and he felt slightly guilty at having her as it was. She had been his farms only pony, and he had taken her to make the journey to Erivale. When i make some money, I'll buy them an even better horse he thought.
"I'm Finn by the way." he added, "Are you the stable master here?"

Luthien swept into the stables, her tack hanging loosley on her thin arms. She hurridly glided past many onlookers to her mare, Sairalindë's, stall. "Hey girl." Luthien said softly, stroking her mare behind her white ears. Sairalindë whickered gently and whoofed at Luthien's long, violet hair, whinning in delight of seeing her master. Being the intelligent elven horse that she was, Sairalindë opened the latch to the human made stalls and trotted out, exposing her back to Luthien for saddling. Luthien laughed heartily and placed the light saddle on Sairalindë's back. She needed no bit, for Sairalindë always listened to the elven tounge. Luthien comanded Sairalindë to follow her and hurried out of the stable past questioning glances, then gently propped herself into the saddle and comanded Sairalindë to trot. SHer and Sairalindë clopped out of the stable yard and up the road. She heard faint hoofsteps behind her and urged Sairalindë "Yro!". Sairalindë jumped into a gallop. Luthien hoped to lose whoever wanted to speak to her.

Drakan looked round as Finn entered the stables. He saw that the boy had spoken to Nelra and decided to leave her to it. He headed across the corridor to Arkis' stall and opened the door. Patting his horses head, he led him out into the corridor and signalled to Nelra that he was going for a ride. Then he swiftly leapt onto the horses back and waved goodbye.
Once outside Drakan wasn't too sure of where to go. He had explored most places in Arinesse now. He began to urge Arkis into a trot and headed down the road. He thought he would visit the beach. He hadnt taken Arkis there before and he knew that the horse would probably enjoy it.
As Drakan and Arkis quickened thir pace, Drakan spotted a figure not far ahead. He recognised the horse from the stable, and called out to the girl riding.

Luthien gave in and reluctantly turned around. She halted Sairalindë and patted her white coat firmly. "Suilaid." (Greetings) Luthien said. She gave a slight inclination of her head to the human, and then, "Man eneth lín?" (what is your name?) Luthie stared into the eyes of the stranger, hoping to glean as much information of his character as she could, just from the look in his eyes. She then cursed herself for being so rude as to speak in her native tounge, then said, "Luthien Elensar i eneth nín."my name is Luthien elensar Luthien said, pointing to herself. "Sairalindë." Luthien guestured to her steed, who snorted and whoofed the stranger'shorse with curiosity. Then, Luthien's eyes widened as she noticed the tapered ears and slanted eyes of the stranger. "Pedich i lam edhellen?" Do you speak Elvish?

"Fóén óúrsecä,"Of course Drakan replied with a smile. He hadnt spoken in his mothertongue in so long, and it felt good to do so. Still speaking Elvish he asked Luthien where she had been born. "I'm Drakan by the way" he added remembering that he hadnt introduced himself. "And this is Arkis" he signalled to his horse. The colour of this girls hair shocked Drakan, usually elves were light, both in appearance and nature, but Luthien's hair was so dark it was almost completely black. However he was not one to dwell, and began to trot away, wondering if she would follow.
[OOC its better if we post in english, as translating is a little pointless =]]

Nelra jumped slightly, startled by the fact that someone was talking to her, and that she hadn't even seen or heard them approach. She had been about to point him towards Drakan to have his questions answered, as he was the stable master, not her. But Drakan, it seemed, was headed out for a ride. She watched Drakan leave before turning back to Finn.
"It doesn't cost anything to keep your horse here. And no, I'm not the stable master, Drakan is, but he just left. I'm Nelra, the stable hand." Nelra replied. "Just put your horse in any of the clean stalls, and she'll get looked after."

Luthien followed, now a bit interested in this Drakan. He seemed freindly enough. "I come from a far away glade called Fraesten. It is many leagues from this Erivale though. This place is so strange to me! You are the first elf I have encountered. Is Arkis Elven too?" Luthien couldn't help but turn a slight shade of pink as he examined her hair. "I am a different elf to many." she said to his questioning look. "Tis different, but I have grown rather fond of it myself." she said, still in her tounge. She comanded Sairalindë to follow him, unsure of what she was doing. So many questions about this other world troubled her usually peacefull mind. "How long have you been in Erivale?" She asked.

Drakan smiled and blushed slightly as Luthien noticed he was looking at her. "Am i really the first elf you have met?" He asked slightly astonished, "I have many elven friends, but none that share your hair colour, which is beautiful." Somehow Luthiens hair had managed to capture all of his attention and he could barely tear himself away. "Arkis is not Elven no, I purchased him in Faydell, but i used to have an Elven horse." His smile faded as he remembered his old companionand he hesitated, before deciding to trust Luthien. "I came here under rushed circumstances, i sort of left suddenly and had no chance to bring my own horse, I miss her." Drakan paused for a few moments and then changed the subject."I have been in Erivale many weeks now, I have made quite a living for myself too, i am an elite in the army, i run the stables along with my good friend Nexa, and i also own my own hut. I am glad i came." He grinned and patted Arkis fondly, as though to reassure him that he was as important as his old steed.

"Yes, you are yet the only elf I have met. How many of our kin are there in erivale?" Luthien shuffled as this Drakan bore his eyes into her hair. "I am so sory for your loss." Luthien knew how it would tear her soul to part with her mare. She patted her steed. "So, well, do you, have a family here?" She said, not trusting herself to answer the question on her own standards. But she was interested in what Drakan had to say. She wanted to learn as much about Erivale as possible. "I have only slept in the stables since I have come here, for I only own Elven currancy!" She said, a little taken aback by her own indulgence. She had never spoken so upfront to a stranger before. She had to learn to tame her tounge. She talked Sairalindë into a canter to catch up to the stable master.

"The stables!" Drakan stopped Arkis suddenly, and toppled sideways off of him. He stood up slightly embarrassed but more shocked. "I didnt notice you were there? And i am the stable master!" His tone of voice was a little harsh as he spoke to Luthien.
After a few minutes he had calmed himself down, something that he was getting alot better at. "Yes there are many elves in Erivale." he replied to Luthiens question. "Probably more of our kin than humans" His smile returned, and climbed back onto Arkis' back. "So what are your plans for your time in Erivale?"
